Preparation for Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)

If your appointment is booked in the morning:
Please DO NOT Eat or Drink ANYTHING after midnight.

If your appointment is 2:00pm or later:
Please DO NOT Eat or Drink ANYTHING 6 hours before test.

Please arrange a ride home as you will receive IV sedation prior to the procedure.

Please note that if you are having both an EGD and a colonoscopy on the same day you must follow the colonoscopy instructions.

To cancel or reschedule an appointment you must provide at least 3 business days notice or you will be charged a $150.00 cancellation fee.
